Toll free number 158, Unfortunately, Do you know that??

Every operator has their own customer care numbers and that charge a lot. But Bangladesh government facilitated for all mobile users to have a toll free number for any operator which is 158.

Bangladesh mobile SIM operators ~ GP, RobiBanglalink and Teletalk ever inform there's respective customers that ‘’all mobile users to have a toll free number for any operator which is 158’’. Bangladesh Government under telecom act, 'Short Code Allocation Procedure 2020', was made under compulsion that customer must have free telecommunication with their respective mobile operator  by dialing 158 number for help desk (Customer Care), 24/7.

By dialing 158 number from your  mobile ( #GP #Robi #Banglalink #Airtel #Teletalk ) it is toll free, that means - your mobile credit or recharge or minutes will not be deduced/ subtracted for unlimited of time, by any means.

Other than this, every mobile operators have different customer care services like dial 121, short code dial or USSD or any other scope of communications, all those services, 'accept 158' have very high and different types of tariffs, where customer have to pay for uses those services but already 158 is there for everyone to use, as you donor believe then try it right now to dial 158 from your mobile sim number.

Toll free, means no charges will be applicable for any mobile SIM users, when they dial is specific 3 (three) digit numbers 158 for any kind of customer care operation related issues at free of charges.

WHY WE DON'T KNOW THIS INFORMATION 'TOLL FREE 158, CUSTOMER CARE SHORT CODE NUMBER??

In total Bangladesh, there are 4 (four) mobile operators in operation, Grameen Phone - GP, Robi, Banglalink and government own single mobile company Teletalk.

If we used dial 158 customer care number, which is totally free of cost, then those following mobile operators won't get a huge amount of financial benefits. Which they are earning by your pocket when you dial customer care number with high charged per minute, which they advertised or recommend, so they never shear this toll free 158 number for their customer to call by hook or cook ;~)

For more profit, no mobile operators do not advertise this valuable information. As per Information Act, they are making crime to conceal these toll free 158 numbers from customers’ acknowledgment, customers’ right to know and to dial it toll free other than dial charged per minute’s customer care numbers.

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), The Act has delineated its objectives as follows: Toll free number 158.

Also it is true that, Bangladesh telecom regulatory body BTRC is busy with some other big issues, so no response on these issues, which I am discussing it from my personal interest and views.

Every mobile user in Bangladesh have right to know this information. Unfortunately these four operators don't publish or inform this information, toll free number 158. Anywhere, I said, anywhere means really anywhere just check it out, their official website or any public advertisements you cannot find this important information for their customer, check it now Google it to verify my concern.

I like to have a good apprehension with ambitious hope to make little attention for AMTOB, Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh. AMTOB is a national trade body representing all mobile telecom operators in Bangladesh, which can solve the following matter within a very short time.

I hope you general people understand now what I am trying to explain, my humble request is to spread this information and save your hassle & bezel ;~))
